Sara & Joseph were our lucky winners for our engagement giveaway. Sara, was so excited because she says she never wins anything. So, we were thrilled to pamper her!
Their Story: Sara & Joseph were dating for a couple years, before they decided to take time to see what they wanted for each other. She says, “We wanted to know what our next step would be, so we took time to pray and see where we were lead.” It didn’t take long for them to find their way back together because only a couples months later, Joseph planned a surprise trip for them.
Joseph had Sara’s friends pack her bags and drive her to the airport. Sara says that she still had no idea where she was going when she arrived to the airport, and walked up to the gate that read. Thrilled beyond belief they headed to their romantic getaway to Hawaii.
Once settled and in Hawaii they made sure to do some scenic hikes. Sara, still, didn’t think much! On their first hike, when they reached the top, Joseph got on his knee and proposed and well, she said YES!!!
We had so much fun for their engagement session. I loved their personal touch of boho and super heroes! Sara is a free soul, loves all things nature and is a cute surfer girl! Joseph, is a big Marvel fan and I thought it was so sweet of her to want to incorporate that into their session.
If there is one location that makes my heart happy and creates magic every single time I visit it would be Little Corona Del Mar. In fact, a photographer once asked me what my favorite place to photograph was and when I told them it was Little Corona, they were stunned, they weren’t seeing the magic that I was. And frankly, if you are not falling in love with this beach, it’s simply because you are not photographing it right! The sunsets here are just perfect! The light here is a dream! So creamy and bright… and the water is refreshing!
I wanted to put together a minimalist stylized shoot. I wanted nothing more than pretty florals, the coastal views, and a naturally glowing bride. Tamara, was a perfect fit for this vision. I loved putting together these simple details to create something beautiful. I also wanted to show that you don’t need a lot to capture pretty details. I wanted this set up to make you feel like you were off on an island.
Welcome to the SWP Family! Over here at Stephanie Weber Photography we love to spoil our couples. This starts with our carefully thought out welcome gift that is sent to you after booking a wedding collection with us.
We have selected these beautifully handmade vow books. They have been watercolor washed, with handmade paper, hand-painted drawing, special hand lettering, and tied with a beautiful silk ribbon.
Why vow books? We wanted to gift our couples something that would be purposeful and treasured as the years went on. A lot of couples don’t budget, or plan to get vow books for their wedding. So we wanted to make it easy for you to incorporate them on your big day.
Vow books allow you the creative space to write and express your love, excitement and future plans with your soon to be spouse. They make the perfect keepsake to read on your anniversaries, or on any day you want to smile.
Included in your gift are three of our favorite creative photographs we’ve taken. They remind us of tranquility and love. We hope that you are able to enjoy them as much as we do. We can’t wait to see what you do with them!
The couple chosen for the shoot is a sweet and adventurous pair that never had a wedding of their own, so it was perfect to invite them and celebrate the love they have for one another. I wanted to treat them to a day of laughter and love, where they could say their vows to one another and enjoy an evening to celebrate their union.
The vision behind this elopement stylized shoot was to create beautiful, timeless and relaxed images. The colors chosen were inspired by a classic and romantic look. I wanted to create a soft palette, to compliment the intimate affair. Something beautiful that would be considered affordable for brides who can’t or don’t want to have a large, elaborate wedding. Incorporating details like personal written vows, beautiful pastries, stunning florals and simple decor ideas.

The scenery at Skypark Weddings was just perfect! The scenic green backdrop and open field made for a whimsical view. Want to know something funny? During our shoot it began to pour, so you could imagine how quick we all moved to make sure we captured each detail carefully. It was definitely team work, as they held a light reflector over my head to snap the photos.
When the rain did slow down we were able to access the beautiful open field where we were able to capture some beautiful moments of the gorgeous couple. The overcast sky’s were in fact, so complimentary to the scenery, creating a very romantic mood.
We are so excited to share that this intimate Lake Arrowhead Elopement shoot is being featured over at Let’s Bee Together and Something Turquoise! We had an incredible time working with some very talented vendors and creating this magical shoot! Thank you to everyone that helped make my vision come to life.
Amanda & Marlon, an incredibly humble couple, and such a joy to be around. And boy was I happy our paths crossed. In fact, it felt like it was fate. I know super cheesy, but hear me out.
When Amanda first reached out to me, she told me she was going to be a very untraditional bride. Her “wedding”, what at the time she didn’t really feel like it was, would be very small and not the one she dreamed of. You see, Amanda and Marlon are full-time students moving to a new state as husband and wife, a fresh start. They wanted to make it official, but couldn’t justify an elaborate wedding. I understood her completely, my husband and I also had a very untraditional wedding, not the one of our dreams, but we had one nonetheless. I told Amanda that my goal was to make her feel like she was having the wedding of her dreams, because at the end of the day the size of your wedding doesn’t make you husband and wife. In the end, what you will remember is the day you said your vows in front of those you love and hold dear to your hearts.
It doesn’t stop there, at the reception, I came across a fellow mom from my son’s school who has been a part of my life for a few years now. And as I sat down to have dinner, by chance, I sat next to a nurse from my son’s doctor’s office who happens to be my cousins great friend. I love how fate leads us to to people. Life has a beautiful way of working itself out.
Marisa reached out to me earlier this year to set up an anniversary session for her and Tim. And I knew it would be a fun, spunky and colorful affair. That’s just how bubbly these two are. I was so honored that she would consider me and trust me to take these photos for them. I mean, they both come from a family of photographers, like this is their way of life. In general, it’s always so nerve wrecking taking photos of other professionals, but once the session gets going, those fears go away. I love that I get to work with other talented photographers and professionals. It really makes my journey as a photographer so enjoyable. And it’s even better when you work alongside some down to earth people. Marissa and Tim are just as goofy in front of the camera as they are behind it, and I loved that! I mean, just look at how cute these two are!
Surrounded by their family and closest friends, together they prayed, laughed and cried. Their garden wedding was nothing short of perfect! Every detail was perfectly executed, and carefully curated. Their wedding guest were beyond thrilled for the happy couple, parents and siblings gave the most heart felt speeches. Love was spread throughout their day! I mean, it was beautiful! A truly special and intimate ceremony they had amongst those they love.
Mr. & Mrs. Heyne
We wanted a day of celebrating love and what it meant to us. Surrounded by close friends and family. A mixture of glam and greenery all encompassed in our own “Secret Garden”. We loved that our wedding portrayed our style, which is laid back and refined. – Mrs. Heyne
Hi, thank you for stopping by! Meet my family- my husband Max, oldest son Ayden and our little one Lucas. One of our New Years Resolutions this year was to take 3-5 trips a year, big or small. With the intention for us to spend more quality time together, away from responsibility and to create experiences. We have been working hard on moving away from materialistic items and closer to things, experiences, and activities that will create memories. The start of this year has been a busy one for us, so last week was our first family trip this year. My husband Max had never been to San Francisco, so it was an easy choice.
First on the list, special request from our oldest Ayden, the Full House home. Feeling nostalgic? This is the place to visit!
It’s always open….
And of course we had to go see the pretty signature San Fran homes from the opening credits on Full House.
Next up, a nice hike at Muir Woods, a peaceful experience!
If you’re going to San Francisco, Be sure to wear flowers in your hair…
A pilot and flight attendant who fell in love. How perfect are they? Sheldon and Jessica met back in 2016 on Thanksgiving while hanging out with a group of friends. They reconnected again a few months later and became friends thanks to Snapchat. They were such an easy going couple and super sweet. Throughout our session I adored watching them have fun with one another. They were able to play in the water, share laughs. But most importantly, they had the opportunity to release two balloons, with a letter in each for Sheldon’s future father-in-law and Jessica’s beloved father. It was such an incredible moment and I am so honored to have had the opportunity to capture that sweet moment. I adored that they wanted to include him during our session, and felt it was a beautiful tribute to him.
I then picked up a trip that he was working so we could fly together. Our first flight was from Los Angeles and we spent the night in Denver, CO. We went out to dinner and then stopped at a bar to play pool. That first flight we worked together was when I knew I liked him a lot! And ever since that trip in March of 2017 we have been together. I like to call it, love at first flight. Now I get to marry my best friend and the best pilot I know. – Jessica, future Mrs. Zilla.
I’d love to travel the world, with you by my side.
